Privacy policy

What we collect, and why

• When you book a call: your name, your email address, the time you pick, your phone number if you choose a phone call, and anything you type in the notes or guest fields. We use it to hold the call and get back to you.
• When you call or email us: your phone number or email address and what you tell us, so we can reply.
• This website has no forms, analytics or tracking of its own, and it sets no cookies.

Your files and work material

Anything you send us for the work, like files, records, photos or notes, is used only to do that work. We don’t sell it, and we only share it with the services below that we use to do the work.

Services that handle your information

• Cal.com runs the booking calendar and video calls. It loads only when you open the calendar. Then it sets its own cookies on cal.com for security, and your browser also connects to Sentry, the error-monitoring service Cal.com uses.
• Google: Gmail for email, including files you send by email, and Google Calendar for booked calls.
• Cloudflare forwards email sent to [email protected] to our Gmail inbox.
• Anthropic (Claude) is the AI tool we use to draft the work. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, it doesn’t train its models on what we send. It deletes it within 30 days, unless its safety systems flag it as breaking Anthropic’s usage policy (then it can keep it up to 2 years) or the law requires longer.
• Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it receives your IP address and browser details when you visit.

All of these are US companies, so your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries and bookings that don’t turn into work: deleted within 1 year.
• Client files and work material: deleted within 90 days after the work ends.
• Invoices: kept as long as Canadian tax rules require, generally six years.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email [email protected].
